 | Gary and Valene Ewing are a young couple out of Dallas, Texas. Some fifteen years ago they make a child together but the child is cruelly taken away from Val because she is too young to raise it. Young Lucy grows up with her father's oil-rich parents. Now older and wiser, Gary and Val tie the knot and move to Knots Landing, California to begin their peaceful life together but what they find is a neighbourhood full of trouble. |

The Fairgates make up while Val wonders if they will stay in this crazy little town...luckly they do.
