A State of Mind
Abby's ex-husband, Jeff tires of Abby's wild ways with men and cracks down on the way she's raising the kids. He files for a custody hearing. Karen helps him out in his plight but Abby fights back with what God gave her to change his mind. She tells Richard their affair is over while Richard resents Laura reminding him he still has no job. So, Laura finds attention with another man.
"Don't you tell him anything else 'cos if you do I'm going to start playing dirty." Abby Cunningham.

The mouse'll play while the cat's away. Richard & Abby heat up while Laura is at work & Abby's kids are with dad.
|
|
|

|
Their fun in the sun is interrupted by the kids coming home from an outing which lands them a new pet rabbit.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby's ex-hubby Jeff Cunningham (Barry Jenner) feels she's being too wild in front of the kids.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Jeff whines to Karen & Sid about Abby's neglegent ways of looking after the kids. Karen agrees to spy on her.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby & daughter, Olivia (Tonya Crowe). Jeff & Abby try to work it out. Karen's response to Abby's threat - "Witch."
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby tells Jeff, "Millions of mothers work. It's possible to do both, you know". He uses Karen as his ally.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
To her aggrivation Richard hates Laura taking care of him. Abby is served custody hearing papers & doesn't like it.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby plays on brother Sid's emotions. Laura is tired of finding Richard in "some black funk". (?)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Laura scores roses from a client. Abby tells Richard "it's been nice" but for the sake of keeping her kids,it's over.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Jeff finally admits all he really wants is Abby back. With this information Abby begins scheming her next move.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
When Jeff finds out they're not getting back together he vows to get unfair. Karen tells Abby he means war.
