Nowhere to Run
Diana's support of Chip/Tony continues to infuriate Karen to tears. Lilimae vistis Chip in jail in hopes of getting the truth out of him to no avail. William Devane makes his first appearance as Greg Sumner campaigning for senetor. Val and Gary make their divorce final. Abby finds out Gary is to inherit 10% of Ewing oil and finally Diana runs of to aunt Abby's.

Karen still wants to protect Diana. "She's a victim as much as anyone."

Chip is told what happened with Ciji and he worries, "Did they see me?"

Chip stays cool under interrogation. Diana wants her mother to get him the best lawyer that money can buy.

Abby dreams about the 10% of Ewing Oil Gary will inherit five days after his divorce becomes final.

Gary visits Abby's new adobe while Valene leaves for the divorce meeting and tells Lilimae she wants nothing.

Diana holds onto her Marital Privilege about testifying against her husband.

Gary & Val's lawyers duke it out while they look on. Finally Val tells them, "I don't want the money." (foolish girl)

Karen creams Diana about her decision. Diana tells her she never wants to see her again.

Enter Greg Sumner with his political campaigne and Abby is the first to meet him, of course.

Abby gets Laura to work on some cockamany land while Val tells her mother, "Mama, you're making me crazy."

Abby uses her seductive skills to work on Gary on a lovely evening at the ranch.

| Temperatures are rising in Knots Landing as they turn on the heat way up but Abby doesn't stop there.

Lilimae regrets trusting Chip while Karen learns that Diana has run away. Abby tells them she's at the ranch.

Mack visits Abby and Gary in hopes of bringing Diana back home but she prevails, "I am not coming back."
