Sacred Vows
This is it, at last Gary and Abby tie the knot before a sceptical Laura as witness. Valene sees no choice but to put her mother into a psychiatric hospital to which Lilimae whole-heartedly detests. Diana finally decides to testify. Lisa Hartman returns as Cathy Geary showing up at Gary's honeymoon suite as the unsuspecting hotel maid.

While Diana ponders testifing against her aleged husband, Chip/Tony, Karen hopes they are still a family.

Greg checks in with Val. Greg continues his persuit of Mack for governor's office. "Mack, you're the boss."

Ben comes for a visit but Val tells him it may not be a good idea to continue seeing each other.
|

Ben gives Val the puppy-dog look. Greg visits Abby at her office.

|
Abby, "I know what I'm doing." Diana keeps an eye on Chip.

While Gary keeps an eye on the kids Greg keeps an eye and his lips on Abby.

Val tries to figure out what to do with mama. Laura visits a shirtless Gary at the ranch.

Laura thinks Gary should stop leading Val on. "What do you want from ner?"

Still same story just more shirtless Gary in oil and sunshine.

| Finally, Mack gets appointed into the governor's office while a proud Karen looks on her man.

Gary tells Val he'll meet her for lunch then changes his mind on account of what Laura told him.

Val tells Lilimae she's going to the mental hospital. Gary visits Abby at her hotel room with something on his mind.

To Abby's delight he asks her to marry him. She pretends shock.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Eric, "No, Diana, you're the one who doesn't understand." Eric puts in his two cents. Karen can't sleep.
|

|

|
Gary reflects on his land and a new future with Abby. Diana tells the police she'll do the right thing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Gary Ewing and Abby Cunningham say their I do's while Laura stands up as witness, cynically so.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Lilimae, "Everyone's turning against me." Val bids a teary goodbye to her mother at Lakevail.
