Distant Locations
Valene has run off to Nevada where she finds out more about her wilder side. After a bad encounter in a bar she heads off again to Shula, Tennessee. There she assumes a new identity as Verna Ellers and finds a job as a waitress. And while Gary and Galveston do business Abby sends a detective to track Val down.

While Lilimae implores Mack, "We've got to find her right away," Val arrives in Enoch, NV.

She cuddles to a baby but it's evident to the mother that all is not right & shoos Val away.

Alone in a motel Val's darker side takes over. "You look like an old lady," Val.
|

|

|
|
Abby gets interested in meeting Galveston while Mack reports Val missing. Karen has more trouble with her condition.

Abby tells Lilimae, "I never wanted to hurt Valene." Val gets ready for her night out. "Valene Ewing, you're going to get yourself a man."

Ben tells Karen, "We were working things out." Josh and Cathy work on a sermon for his TV show.

|
|
In a smokey bar Val is a wild thing out to get a man.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
However she encounters a hurdle when the wife shows up and puts Val in her place which is away from her man.

|
|
Galveston has lunch with Gary & Abby and finds out Gary is still very much tied to his Ex-wife. "You still have a good relationship with her."

| Laura tells Greg about Scott Easton working with Galveston on the water permits for Lotus Point. He seems to find it amuzing. Lilimae defends herself, "I'm not the reason Val ran away."

|
|
|
Gary bonds with Galveston who wants to take him under his wing. Val wakes up with a hangover. "What did you do you dirty filthy tramp?" The good Valene comes back to scrub off the make up and become someone new.

|
She pays her bill and leaves NV. Joshua delivers his powerful sermon and appeals to his sister, "Valene if you can hear me, call me."

|
|
|
Mack questions Karen about her clumziness but she keeps her mouth shut about her oncoming paralysis. Abby checks in with her detective who reports that Val is moving on.

|
|
|
|
In Shula Val immediately gets a job as a waitress under her new name, Verna Ellers but Abby's detective is right on her heels.
