In this season finale a long last Karen, Mack and Ben find the twins' current home with the Fishers. Of all people in Knots it is Abby who finds Val on the beach and drives her to where the twins are. Although she tries, Val doesn't really believe it until she sees them for herself. In this all important episode Ben and Val start off in bed while Ben plays the bagpipes in his kilt. Val, "I'm gonna find out what Scottsmen wear under their kilts."

His music gives her a headache. Fortunatelly he has to leave when he gets more news on the babies whereabouts.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ben, Karen and Mack band together in their efforts to find the twins.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At the Ewing ranch Abby feels some relief at finding out that the good Dr. Ackerman has killed himself.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Poor Greg feels rejected when Laura refuses his advances and Abby is just after the notebook pages.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At last we get a look at Val's babies. They are with adoptive parents Sheila and Harry Fisher, played by Robin Ginsburg and Joe Regalbuto.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Laura won't give Greg a time of day so he leaves the car in the street and takes after her on foot then gets a ticket.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ben & Mack seek some help while Abby rejoices when finally she owns the pages which implicate her in the twin's kidnapping and tell her where they are.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Abby sets off to find Val. Gary questions Karen on what she knows about the babies. But she tells him, "There is no time."
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Then Mack tells Karen the good news. They are ready to confront the Fishers.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby finds Val on the beach collecting seashells. She tells her, "Val, your babies are alive."
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Val goes with Abby but seems unaware of what is really going down. Abby, "You seem awfully calm."
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Karen and Gary meet up with Ben and Mack and head off to the Fisher's house.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Fishers go about their business. They are not aware yet of the comotion going on around them.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Karen and Mack get ready to ring the bell and bring the babies home to Val while the man who'll raise them and their real father look on.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Holding Val's baby girl Sheila Fisher opens the door and starts what seems just a friendly chat with Karen and Mack.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby and Val arrive but Sheila still doesn't realize her twin babies are about to be taken away.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Val feels vindicated that finally what she has felt all along will be a reality to everyone else. Gary wants to know what Abby is doing here but she makes it out as if it is only a good deed she is doing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Val walks up to the house and with Val determination gives Shiela a look that immediately alerts her senses.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Sheila's husband Harry drives by with the other twin and Sheila warns him. "Harry, they want to take the baaaaabies."

|
|
|
|
Val's maternal radar is on the alert. One baby in the front, one in the back. She turns around to take a good look at her baby boy.
