Uncharted Territory
While Val shacks up in a cozy little apartment in Shula, TN the gang from Knots is on her tail. She meets Parker Winslow, the smiling dry cleaner. Abby finds time to get ideas when Joshua's TV sermons generate dollars. Galveston asks Gary to go in with him on Empire Valley and after a near accident Karen finally fesses up to Mack that she may be dying.

Laura brings home the suitcase Val left behind in NV.

Val is busy at her new job in Shula. "Anything I can get ya? - Okey, dokey."
|
|

Abby finds money is donated in Joshua's fan mail in response to his TV sermons.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby keeps mum on the money but tells Joshua, "I'd like you to do it again if you could." Ben concurrs, "Listen to me Joshua, do it."

|
|
Galveston wants Gary to go in on a new project of his, Empire Valley. Gary, "You mean me?"
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby spots Greg and Gary having a meeting about Easton while Laura is bored silly. Mack speaks to Val's former editor.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At Val's house Lilimae asks Joshua to do it too, to plead for Val's return on TV.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Abby and Karen confront Gary on the meetings he's having with Galveston but he tells them only what they need to know.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Val gets herself an apartment. When the landlady comments on Val's good figure she responds, "I never exercised a day in my life."

|
|
| Karen and Michael are out for a ride when her hand goes numb and she barely misses hitting a young girl on a bike.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At home she explains it to Mack, " I guess I just panicked." But of course he knows better and is getting fed up with Karen keeping things from him.

|
|
|
While Ben gets attention from his assistant Val prepares for her new life.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Finally Karen and Abby confront Galveston, "What's your role in this proposal?"
|

|
|
|
|
|
Laura thinks Greg spends too much time on business. Laura, "I never joke about tennis and I never joke about lunch."
|
|
|
|
|
|
In Shula Valene meets a handsome dry cleaner, Parker Winslow, who seems to be just a little too friendly.
|
|
|
Mack chats with Karen's doctor then confronts her about her secrecy. "This is not a marriage." Finally she confides in him, "Mack, I'm gonna die." - "I won't let you die."
